What is your inspiration for your items
My products are a reflection of my life, a Desi Girl living in a western world. I’m inspired by all those around me who stay true to our rich culture while simultaneously embracing the western lifestyle. Be it friends, family, the third generation desi or fresh-off-the-boat immigrant; we adapt differently. We are each a unique combination of East and West, I want my products to carry that same unique combination. I want my products to appeal to each Modern South Asian no matter what part of the East to West spectrum they lie. This challenge inspires me and keeps me creatively charged.
What are your most popular items
My current bestsellers are the Mosaic Tile Clutches, the customizable Metallic Bags, the Wedding Sunglasses, and the sassy “Yes Aunty, Still Kuwari/a.” T-shirts!

Do you provide personal bridal party boxes
That’s my current mission. I will before the end of the year! I’ll have more than just wedding related boxes, I want to provide gift boxes for every occasion, big or small! And of course all boxes will be personally curatable by the buyer so it’s uniquely you!
What’s your favorite item
I have a couple. My personal favorite items are the Burgundy Desi Backpacks, the “No Aunty, you can’t have my Biodata” shirts and the beach hats. The backpacks are just super cute, useful and unique. The shirts are fun and I personally LOVE witnessing the reactions to it, which is usually a smile or a playful laugh. And the beach hats speak to my Desi soul! They’re that fun vacay accessory you think twice about before purchasing but never regret it once you do!
