We have been asked by a lot of people what they should wear whenever they receive a black tie invitation.

For men, its extremely easy and basically they just need to wear a tuxedo with a black tie. If he doesn't own one then you can simply rent one. If the invitation says "black tie optional" then he can wear a tux but he can also wear a dark suit.

For women, the rules are not as strict. Black is a no fail dress color for a wedding like this, but you can experiment with color, jewels, fabric, and more! You too may want to rent from a service such as Rent the Runway, since formal gowns can be expensive.
